I have read a lot of books over the past 5 years. Books can change your life, but it is not the reading that changes your life… it is the action you take on what you read that changes your life. If you read and take action on these books, your life will improve.

1. Essentialism: the disciplined pursuit of less — Greg McKeown

Two sentence summary:

Being an essentialist is about removing the many trivial things from your life, allowing you to focus on the few things that are truly meaningful. Greg McKeown provides a road map for decluttering your life so you can prioritize the investment of your time and energy in the best way for you.

Who should read this book?

Anybody who feels overwhelmed by the busy world that we live in. This could be those in early careers/students who are beginning to prioritize what matters in their life, or business executives short on time and looking to enhance their contribution to the world.

2. Insight: how to succeed by seeing yourself clearly — Tasha Eurich
