How to find endless motivation
Some days are full of going after it, really focused on making it happen. The ‘it’ being the goal you are pursuing. Other days ‘it’ is just lost in the wilderness.
You can’t muster up the energy to get started, or you lack that ‘get up and go’ that it takes to make progress on your goals. If you’re like me, there might be more of the days that lack motivation than you would like to admit. But there are things we can do to turn that around in and when your enthusiasm drops.
Lacking motivation is like having something plugged into the wall socket but not turning the switch on. Whatever it is you’re trying to do just doesn’t work. There is the age old suggestion of ‘just get started’.
But unless we turn the switch on, or find that spark to get you excited about what you’re doing, I don’t see as simple as ‘just begin’ — and it’s also less likely to be sustainable.
Often when we feel like we lack motivation, instead we are just lacking clarity. Not having a clear path, and sometimes not knowing where to begin can leave you stuck. So how do you find the spark to get up and go? Even when what we are doing isn’t necessarily that exciting?
Finding a clear path
Figuring out the steps required can be challenging if what you are seeking to do is a big ask. You should simplify. Break the bigger goals into smaller projects to work through. This will help you figure out how to move forward to advance your overall goal. You could use…
